Have to be honest, vacancies is probably too strong a word as right now we're only looking for volunteers. But we love our volunteers very much and if you’re looking to do something valuable and want to be rewarded with appreciation and good karma rather than cold hard cash you’re in the right place.

Join the Debatewise Census
We looking to put together a group of 1,000 British people (Brits only for now, sorry) to form the Debatewise Census. Once a week we’ll send you a very small questionnaire, four or five questions probably. You answer them, comment if you wish and mail it back. Job done. Take around five minutes of your time.

Join the Rapid Response Team
For people with more to say we have places on our Rapid Response Team. Each week we’ll send you a list of subjects we’d like a debate on. If a topic takes your fancy you can write the whole debate, just one side or a point here and there.

People on the Rapid Response Team have told us it’s helped them become more attractive to employers (the paying kind) since debate experience and working for a not-profit looks good on CVs. Reports that members have benefited from increased vitality, more handsomeness/prettiness and the luck of the Irish are so far unconfirmed.

However, we wont rely on good luck to reward you for your efforts, so each month we award the best debater a beautiful trophy to permanently mark their achievement.
